A natural mosquito control is a product formulated to help control mosquitoes in a treated area. A natural mosquito control is formulated from ingredients considered to be family-friendly, pet-friendly and qualify for exemption from registration under section 25(b) of the Federal Insecticide, Fungicide and Rodenticide Act.
Natural mosquito control is being sought out increasingly more in a world where people are becoming more conscious about their health and the environment.
Stop The Bites® ! Treatment Areas and Applications
Stop The Bites®! effectively kills mosquitoes and ticks in 24 hours or less. It is used in outdoor fogging and misting spray applications as well as typical liquid sprayer backpack barrier treatments.
Fogging/Misting Spray Applications
Six ounces of Stop The Bites®! solution is mixed with a gallon of water and used in treating 3,000 to 7,500 square feet, with vegetative density affecting how much is used in a given space. For heavy pest infestation, 12 to 16 ounces of Stop The Bites®! solution may be mixed with a gallon of water. Stop The Bites®! is applied using hand-held, hose-end or backpack sprayers.
Stop The Bites®! may be sprayed under shrubs, wood piles, leafy areas and places that are shaded and moist. It may be applied to trees, including up and under tree leaves, where adult mosquitoes and ticks hide during the day. It may also be applied to harborage areas such as shrubbery and vegetation, where mosquitoes and ticks may rest.
Stop The Bites®! may be applied to, without discoloring, swing sets, patios, eaves, windows, doorways, porches, porch lights and around utility boxes.
Shrubbery and vegetation around stagnant pools of water, marshy areas, pools and shorelines may also be treated using Stop The Bites®! This natural mosquito control should not be applied directly on ponds, lakes, rivers or other bodies of water, however. It should also not be applied on food-bearing plants and trees or on food contact surfaces such as on fruits, vegetables, nuts and seeds.
Once applied, it is advised not to allow anyone, including pets, to enter treated areas until the Stop The Bites®! solution has dried.
Automatic Misting System Applications
Dilute with water in a 55-gallon tank at a rate of 96/fl oz per 55-gallons of water (1.75 fl oz/gal of water). Set the flow rate to 1.4 fl oz/minute or 40ml/minute, per nozzle.
Be sure to shake the concentrate before diluting, and also be sure to agitate the mixture prior to misting.
Depending on your misting system manufacturer, you must follow those instructions for automatic settings and system maintenance.
Do not spray this product when people, pets, and food are present. Allow the mist to dissipate before occupying the treatment area.
